Daily  Inspections and Operator Training

Owning and operating forklifts and other lift equipment carries some important requirements and responsibilities. As your lifts are used, they will need fluids, tire replacements, repairs, and adjustments. Physical damage can happen any time, and may not be apparent to the operator, when it occurs. Also, minor leaks of any fluid, may not reach the ground a first, or may not be visible when entering or exiting the lift.

This makes daily, or per shift, inspections vital to the safety of your team, and the health of the equipment. OSHA has mandated inspections and will want to see your records during an inspection or investigation. There are many online tools for downloading and saving these records, and some will be included in the links below. We at KMC Equipment want to encourage you to preform your inspections and are here to help. You can download a checklist below, request one anytime by email or by phone. We are here to help.
In addition to daily inspections, operator training is required. Each employee that may operate a lift for any reason, must be trained, and certified every three years. For our neighbors in Bryan, TX and the surrounding areas, this is easy as calling KMC Equipment at 979-778-3104. We offer OSHA approved training and certification, here at our office, or we can come to you.
From training to inspections, KMC is your source for safe operation, maintenance, repair and replacement of forklifts, telehandlers, boom and aerial lifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and other lift equipment.
